Gospel according to Thomas
Presentation by Richard Elias
Saturday 4 September 8-9 a.m.
PMB School, 240 West Street
In 1945 thirteen volumes written on papyrus were found by chance in Upper Egypt. This discovery caused a sensation! One of the works that was found was ‘The Gospel according to Thomas’, a harvesting of about 114 ‘Sayings of Jesus’, recorded and preserved by the apostle, Thomas. It is a truly extraordinary and beautiful rendition of the Gospel, and is shared in discussion here by Mr Richard Elias, who has read, studied, and loved this Gospel for many years.
